Jeffrey M. Jacobson has always worked tirelessly for his client. He was the first attorney in Illinois to have his client’s ex’s driver’s license suspended.

Jeffrey M. Jacobson filed suit against the DuPage State’s Attorney for wrongfully going after his client, a parent, for wrongful collection related to their child. He argued before the Illinois Appellate Court that the State’s Attorney had to stop going after his client. The Appellate Court agreed with Jeffrey and the State’s Attorney stopped going after Jeffrey’s client. The parent was ecstatic that after years of constantly being ordered by the State’s Attorney to appear in court, it all stopped.

Jeffrey M. Jacobson argued in Federal Court that the laws that protect women from their abuser needs to be expanded. The new law allowed women that are fired because they did not show up for work because they have an order of protection against their boss are entitled to money. This is now the law in Illinois.

Our office was appointed by a Judge in DuPage county to represent a minor that was dealing with transgender. Jeffrey was appointed because of his intelligence, experience and understanding of the issues.
